We are truly blessed to have him as our spiritual leader. Join us in wishing Father Orozco a joyful and blessed birthday! May God continue to guide and strengthen him in all his endeavors.
We're thrilled to announce that Father Edgar Quiroga will be joining Holy Apostles Catholic Church as our new Associate Priest! Father Quiroga brings a wealth of experience and faith to our Yakima Diocese community. We eagerly anticipate his arrival in August and look forward to learning from him and growing in our faith together. Father Quiroga has a heart for serving those in need, and previously participated in a special seminary program focused on migrant farmworkers. Through this program, he lived alongside these hard-working individuals and celebrated Mass with them, fostering a deep connection within the Catholic community. Mark your calendars and get ready to give Father Edgar a warm Yakima welcome in August!

πΈβ¨ Check out the amazing video of our Corpus Christi procession, beautifully captured by the talented Santiago Franco, who filmed the drone footage, video, and took stunning pictures. π This year was our biggest ever, with 1500 of our parishioners joining together and trekking to Lincoln Park, where a total of 3000 people gathered for a special mass led by Bishop Tyson. It was a beautiful symbol of our growing community and strong faith! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and to those who contributed to the fundraising efforts for the Cashmere Church. Your support and generosity make our community stronger! πβ€οΈ

βοΈ It's hard to keep a good Irishman down... Fr. Seamus Kerr has been recuperating from a broken leg the last few days at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee after falling and breaking a bone in his left leg in the chapel at Holy Apostles Catholic Church in East Wenatchee. He'll move to a rehab facility tomorrow and hopefully won't need surgery to heal up. First time to spend St. Patrick's Day in the hospital. He is keeping us in his prayers and would appreciate ours. And St. Patrick's prayers as well. π
Today marked a bittersweet moment for our parish family. We are incredibly grateful for his countless contributions, his warm spirit, and his unwavering faith. Though we'll miss Deacon Tom dearly, we wholeheartedly wish him and his family all the best in this new chapter. May God continue to bless them on their journey!
